Don’t be afraid to fail. Don’t waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go on to the next challenge. It’s OK to fail. If you’re not failing, you’re not growing, H. Stanley Judd.
We will all fail in life, but nobody has to be a failure. Failing at a thing doesn’t make you a failure. You are only a failure when you quit trying, Joyce Meyer.
Expect failure, mistakes, struggles: Failure happens in life. It is all part of the journey. Expecting a sail without waves and twirls is unrealistic. it will only make things harder.
You are good enough! You are worth it! You can and you will make it through this. “It’s OK to have ups and downs in your feelings, but having low self-esteem isn’t OK. Feeling like you’re not important can make you sad and can keep you from trying new things” (KidsHealth, Kids, Feelings, My Emotions & Behaviours, The Story on Self-Esteem).
Stop worrying and whining, and work harder than you’ve ever had to in the past. If you have fears, worries, doubts, and self-defeating thoughts, you should examine whether there is anything you can do about it.
A. If you can do something about it, there is no need to worry about it. Determine your goals, design a concrete plan, and commit yourself to achieve it! You can and You will!
B. If you cannot do anything about it, then there is also no point to worry about it. If you cannot do anything about it, let it go, and focus on the positives, on what you can do in the here and now, on what you can change to improve or palliate your situation.
Learn from your mistakes and try again: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work,” Thomas Edison. “There is no failure. Only feedback,” Robert Allen.
Failures are opportunities to learn, grow, rise up from the ashes, and succeed, Anawim.
