Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know, Jer. 33:3.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths, Prov. 3:5-6.
“God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, 1 Pet 5:5-7.
In Christ You/We Are
- A loved child of God. “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith”, Galatians 3:26. “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”, John 1:12.
- You are set apart. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations, Jer. 1:5.
- We are strong, more than conquerors. I can do all this through him who gives me strength, Phil. 4:13. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, Romans 8:37.
- But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, 1 Pet. 2:9.
- I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well, Psalm 139:14.
- You are the light and salt of the world, Matt. 5:13-16.
- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17.
- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, Ephesians 1:7.
- For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power, Colossians 2:9-10.
- You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness, Rom. 6:18.
- For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Phil. 3:20.
